Mountain bikers beware! Every year, the best beach bikers gather on the beach of De Panne for the ‘Mother of all beach races’. And you can be there too!
The Panne Beach Endurance is an international beach race for mountain bikes in which more than 1,000 riders from 6 countries participate every year. The beach race was the first and is the biggest beach race in Belgium. Its calling card is the explosive mass start of the bikers who all cover the same distance (52 km).
The international character with provisioning in Bray-Dunes, France, the climb in campsite ‘Le Perroquet’(Fr) and the many other obstacles make for an unforgettable experience that every mountain biker must have experienced at least once.

On-site registration not possible.
Supporters
We will not leave the many supporters present out in the cold. After the spectacular mass start, you can take a seat along the course to shout out your own heroes to the finish line.
Most popular spots:
- Mass start: +1000 bikers leaving at the same time. This can only produce spectacular images!
- Finish zone on the Zeedijk in front of the Leopold I-Esplanade: thanks to the big screen you can follow all the developments at the head of the race live.
- Beach in front of the Zeelaan: formerly known as ‘the hump’, since recently a scaffold which the bikers have to cross before diving back into the sand at full speed.
After the race, you can stop by the local catering establishments for a delicious meal, or to chat about your own cycling hero's performance.
Cycling festival
On Saturday 16 November 2024, supporters and riders alike can visit De Panne's market square for the first edition of the Cycling Festival.

We will already reserve a parking space close to the entrance, as well as a place in the front row or on the disabled stage.
