Kykhillrun

Outrun the competition and be the first to conquer the climbs of the Kykhill and Thiriarweg during the Kykhillrun, a fun and sporty race for children in primary school.

Who is it for?

• Primary school children living in De Panne.
• Primary school children attending school in De Panne.

Distances

• Pupils in Year 1 and Year 2 run 600 metres.
• Pupils from Year 3 to Year 6 run 1 kilometre.

Joining the run?

• Pupils from schools in De Panne and Adinkerke register via their PE teacher.
• Children living in De Panne but attending school outside the municipality can register by emailing sport@depanne.be.

Practical information

• Participants gather from 1 pm with their teacher on the grass area in front of the town hall.
• Races are organised by year group, with boys and girls running separately.
• The course is fully signposted, with lead runners and sweepers present during the races.
• The finish line is located on the square in front of the town hall.
• The prize‑giving ceremony takes place immediately after the last race finishes.

Accessibility

• Plenty of parking is available at Koningsplein (green zone).
• Bicycle parking is available on the square in front of the library.
