Trick or Treat

Ding dong… do you dare ring the bell? On Friday 30 October, young and old Halloween ghouls will roam the streets of De Panne and Adinkerke. Put on your spookiest costume, follow the Trick or Treat trail and knock on the doors of the participating houses. Shout “Trick or treat!” loud and clear and head home with plenty of tasty treats.

How Trick or Treat works?

One week before Trick or Treat, you can download the route featuring all participating houses from this page. Prefer a paper copy? You can pick one up from the Visit De Panne desk at Zeelaan 21.

On Friday evening, you decide where to start along the route. From 6 pm onwards, the spooky fun begins.

• Dress up in your favourite Halloween costume.
• Follow the route past the participating Trick or Treat houses.
• Spot a Trick or Treat poster in the window? Then it’s time to ring the bell!
• When the door opens, shout together: “Trick or treat!”
• Collect your goodies and move on to the next spooky address.

After 8.30 pm, please do not ring any more doorbells. Head home and enjoy your spooky stash of treats!

Turn your house into a Trick or Treat house

Do you live in De Panne or Adinkerke and would you like to join in the Halloween fun? Register your home as a Trick or Treat house.

This means being at home on Friday 30 October between 6 pm and 8.30 pm, ready to welcome children in costume who come knocking for sweet treats. Once registered, you will receive a Trick or Treat poster. Display it clearly in your window so that all the little ghouls know they are welcome to call at your door.
